When your debit card expires
We’ll send you a new debit card about a month before your current one expires.
If you have the Barclays app, you can see your new card in 'Your cards' as soon as we’ve sent it.
You can use your new card as soon as it arrives, but you’ll need to pay for something using your PIN before you can make any contactless payments. You can also keep using your current card until it’s expiry date, but once you start using your new card, please destroy the old one.
If your new debit card hasn’t arrived
If your card is about to expire and your new one hasn’t arrived yet, please give us a call:
- Personal – call us on 03457 345 345 if you’re in the UK or +44 24 7684 2099 if you’re outside the UK. We’re here Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm, Saturdays from 9am to 5pm and closed on Sundays
- Premier – call us on 0800 924 7365 if you’re in the UK or +44 161 869 8012 if you’re outside the UK. We’re here 24 hours a day, seven days a week
- Business – call us on 0345 605 2345 if you’re in the UK or +44 24 7684 2091 if you’re outside the UK. We’re here Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm and closed on weekends.
