You can book an appointment at any of our branches to let us know if someone who banks with us has died.

If you have a video call, we’ll let you know which documents we’ll need and how you can send them to us, either online or by post.  

If you’ve already let us know and want to talk to us about it, please don’t make an appointment, but call us on 0800 068 2238 (choosing option 2). We’re available Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and Saturdays, 9am to 2pm.

Talk to us directly through social channels too. All of our genuine accounts have a verified tick or badge. We’ll never ask for your Telephone or Online Banking passcodes, PINs (including PINsentry) or card details. Please be aware of accounts imitating us under other names, or without our verified tick.

Apple user? Talk to us on Apple messages. Our genuine account has a black tick - so to make sure it's us you are talking to click on the 'l' next to our name and you'll see a verified tick and our official website 'barclays.co.uk'.

Message us at any time using ‘Contact us’ in your Barclays app or ‘Help and Support’ in Online Banking.

Messages are secure and our automated digital assistant is on hand to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you need more help, one of our team can also reply between 7am and 11pm.

You must be 16 or over to use the app or Online Banking. Terms and conditions apply.

If you’re deaf or hard of hearing and you use British Sign Language (BSL), you can use our SignVideo service to help you call any of our phone numbers and talk to us safely. It connects you to an interpreter who can translate sign language to spoken word for the advisor.
