How do I control online and phone payments in my Barclays app?
You can use your app* to stop your debit card being used for remote payments, which means transactions where your card isn't physically present. These include payments made online, in-app, by phone or by mail order.
To switch remote payments on or off in your app, follow these steps
- Under ‘Quick links’ on your home screen, tap ‘Your cards’
- Select your debit card
- Tap ‘Remote payments’
- Turn the switch to off or on for remote payments
