My BIPS (Barclays International Payments Service) or CHAPS payment is delayed, when will it go through?
We might need to do some checks, so you’ll need to confirm your phone number when you request your payment, in case we need to give you a call. We’ll send your payment once our checks are complete.
If we can’t reach you over the phone, we’ll leave a message and ask you to call us back. If this happens, we won’t send your payment until we’ve spoken to you, so remember to get back to us.
If you set up the payment after the cut-off time, on a weekend or on a public holiday, we’ll usually send the payment the next working day.
