Use your Android device to pay with your debit card whenever you see the Google Pay1 or contactless logo.
No more digging for cards at checkout – just tap and go, knowing that your payments are safely encrypted before, during and after every purchase. When you pay with Google Pay, your real card information is never shared. Instead, an encrypted virtual account number is used to represent your info, so your real card details stay safe. Have control over who can see and use your data in the ‘Privacy Settings’ of your Google Wallet.

Once you’ve added a card to your Google Wallet, you won’t need to enter your payment details again. Just choose Google Pay at checkout, confirm your purchase and you’re done.

Log in and tap 'Cards' from the Quick Links section.
Here you'll see the 'Add to G Pay' button.
To learn more about it, tap here.
To add the selected card on Google Pay, tap the 'Add to G Pay' button.
Read through Barclays terms and conditions and if you're happy, tap 'Accept'.
You'll now need to set up a screen lock on your device if you haven't already.
You may need to verify your card with a one-time passcode sent to you in a text message.
When you receive it, enter the passcode, or for other verification methods, tap 'More options'.
After verification, your card will be set up.
And that's all done.
If you'd like to add the card to Google Pay on any other devices, tap the 'Add to G Pay' button and follow the same process.
You can find a list of past transactions and activity by tapping on any debit cards that you’ve added to your Google Wallet.
Important: You can only find transactions after you’ve added the card to Google Wallet. For a full history of your card transactions, check your bank statements.
To find activity for a card
If you remove a card, you’ll lose its activity history.
