What do I do if I've been charged the wrong amount on my Barclays contactless card by Transport for London (TfL) or I've accidentally touched it on a card reader?
You should first log in and check your online TfL account to see what you’ve been charged. If you still think the amount is wrong, call Telephone Banking (if you’re registered) or TfL on 0343 222 1234.
Personal
You should bear in mind that charges listed on your TfL account and your statement may not match at all times because of a delayed touch, the fare being processed on a different day or TfL combining a number of journeys and processing them as one transaction.
If you've been charged a maximum fare because you touched in with one card and touched out with another, we can only refund charges on your Barclays debit card, by calling Telephone Banking on 0345 734 5345* , or Barclaycard, by calling 0800 151 0900 . You'll have to contact the operator of your other contactless card to organise a refund on it. In this situation it may be easier to contact TfL on 0343 222 1234 as they can organise refunds to both cards at once.
